Privacy policy
Last updated 20 October 2026. This is a translation of the Danish privacy policy. If the two differ, the Danish version applies.
Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller is Mads Ole Etgen Reitz, who runs Afgiftsklage. You can always write to kontakt@afgiftsklage.dk if you have questions about how we handle your data.
What data do we collect?
When you join the waitlist, we store:
- your email address
- which transport company and what happened, if you choose to tell us
- which button on the page you used, which language version you used, and when you signed up
We don't ask for your name, your address or any other information about you.
What do we use it for?
We use your email to let you know when Afgiftsklage opens and to give you the price promised to the waitlist. We use your answers about company and reason to understand which cases people need help with. We never sell your data or share it with others for their own marketing.
What is the legal basis?
We process your data because you gave your consent by ticking the box when you signed up (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation). You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. This doesn't affect the lawfulness of the processing that took place before you withdrew it.
How long do we keep it?
We keep your data until Afgiftsklage has been open for 12 months, or until you withdraw your consent. If the project closes before it opens, we delete the data.
Who processes the data for us?
We use a few services to run the site. They only process the data on our instructions:
- Netlify (hosting the website and storing sign-ups). Netlify is an American company, so the data may be processed in the USA.
- GoatCounter (visitor statistics). It uses no cookies and is only used to count visits and clicks.
- Email services that receive and forward mail to kontakt@afgiftsklage.dk, including Google.
When data is transferred to countries outside the EU, this is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies
The website uses no cookies. The font is hosted on our own server, so your visit isn't passed on to Google, for example.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- see the data we hold about you
- have incorrect data corrected
- have your data deleted
- have the processing restricted
- receive your data in a common format (data portability)
- withdraw your consent
Write to kontakt@afgiftsklage.dk, and we'll reply as soon as possible and within one month at the latest.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, datatilsynet.dk.
